Air freight is carried out as an agent, with airlines represented in Hungary and authorized to transport goods. Thanks to our extensive network of partners, we also successfully deliver your goods to the airports of cities not served by Hungary.
Air (export) process
After we have received your request for quotation email (to skygate@skygate.hu) with the detailed data, the following process is expected:
- It's not up to us! We obtain the costs incurred in the fastest way that can be expected from us. Unfortunately, in some cases this may take 1-2 days, as the process may be delayed due to the time difference or the busyness of our partners.
- After the acceptance of our price offer, the completion of our delivery orderfollows.
- If we carry out the customs clearance, it is necessary to fill out the Export customs clearance orderand the Declaration, is szükséges kitölteni, valamint a kapcsolódó dokumentumokat részünkre eljuttatni (pl emailben) (okmánybekérés és vámszemle lehetséges, ezeket előre nem tudjuk megmondani) és kiállítjuk a szükséges fuvarokmányokat a megadott adatok alapján.
- If goods insurance has been requested, we will send the policy to our partner, after confirmation of which the insurance is valid.
- We pick up the goods at the specified location and deliver them to the airport, where the handling is carried out by the companies operating the airport (if the size or condition of the goods does not meet the screening requirements, the handling company may require a special screening or dismantling of the goods. These may incur additional costs, which we cannot calculate in advance)
- After the goods have been stored, the goods are placed in the aircraft and delivered to the requested destination (in the case of airlines, a delay of a few days is possible, especially in the case of non-direct flights. In such cases, the packages may be transferred to a later plane due to overstocked goods or goods enjoying priority)
